The Rebirth Digital Deluxe Edition adds the Magic Pot summon materia, two gear items, a digital art book and a mini soundtrack. If you already own standard Rebirth, the Deluxe upgrade is $3 (down from $20).

Check your storage before you buy the FF7 pair. Nintendo’s store data gives a download size of about 98.3 GB for Rebirth and 97.1 GB for Remake Intergrade, so the two need close to 200 GB between them. Rebirth’s Deluxe listing also says that Remake Intergrade save data unlocks the Leviathan summon materia, and save data from the INTERmission episode unlocks Ramuh. That makes Remake first a sensible order. For more on the second game, see our things to know before buying FF7 Rebirth, and for the finale, our FF7 Revelation release date guide.
