Lost Judgment is the latest entry into the Yakuza franchise, serving as a sequel to the 2018 title Judgment, itself a spinoff of the series. Set in the cities of Kamurocho and Isezaki Ijincho, it features a detective at the forefront of its mystery, as Takayuki Yagami attempts to solve a murder case. The game comes only a year after the release of the popular Yakuza: Like a Dragon, though unlike that title’s turn-based shift, Lost Judgment will feature more third-person combat as well as stealth sections. Sega’s brand new title, much like other games in the series, will feature classic arcade games inside of its world. It has already seen reviews released. Many fans of the games have been eagerly awaiting the release of Lost Judgment, and will finally be seeing it released this September 21st on both PlayStation and Xbox’s last and current generation of consoles. The game will be accompanied by a Day 1 Patch that is 12GB, noticeably large in addition to its 43.76GB and 35.79GB sizes on PS5 and Xbox Series X . It will also be accompanied by some fixes to the game as well as the first DLC pack of many to come.
