Grand Theft Auto VI has not yet seen an official trailer or announcement, but there are many leaks and rumours about the game, and there have been new reveals regarding the highly anticipated title. Thanks to a new video from Tom Henderson, who has been very reliable in the past, new information has come to light regarding many things involving the upcoming entry into the acclaimed series. One such reveal was that the female protagonist would be taking on the more technical role amongst the apparently multiple playable protagonists in the new GTA title, dealing with things such as hacking and more. The map was also said to not quite be as large as previously assumed but still incorporate many things, including Vice City itself.
With that, the map is also said to be one that evolves over time, much like in Fortnite, with the addition of DLC that will change the layout of the map through events. The game is set to take place in the modern ages, largely due to the immense popularity of GTA Online. Apparently, the game is still in the early stages of development, and as such, will likely see a release in 2024 or 2025 to help focus on the wellbeing of Rockstar’s employees, and will also be on the current generation of consoles only. All that said, this should be taken with a grain of salt, but players and fans should still be prepared for any reports or news from Rockstar themselves.
