It unlocks on Saturday, October 24 at 15:00 UTC (11:00 AM EDT, 8:00 AM PDT) and stays until November 14. Here’s what to do this week, how to farm the new Candy Corn currency, and which codes still work. Spoiler: there’s no new Halloween code yet.

Dress To Impress Halloween 2026 dates and times
The Dress To Impress Group runs two separate Roblox events this season. The Halloween update ends a week before the quest does, so the seasonal shop closes first.

In other time zones, the quest opens at 8:00 AM PDT, 4:00 PM BST and 5:00 PM CEST on October 24. US clocks change on November 1, which is why the end times above show EST.
The update was first set for October 10. It slipped a week to October 17, according to the Dress To Impress wiki. Big DTI updates go live at the listed time, so you can tap “Notify Me” on the event page to get a reminder.
When does Tales of the Dark King come out?
Tales of the Dark King arrives on October 24 at 15:00 UTC. The official listing describes it as a descent into the Greek underworld. You “stand before the river,” uncover “a severed past” and find out what caused the curse that haunts the present. The listing confirms three chapters. The team first revealed the quest at RDC 2026 in September, and the full trailer went up on October 18.
What’s confirmed so far:
- Three chapters. The developer hasn’t said whether all three open on day one.
- It’s not a Lana quest. The setting is Greek myth, and the official X teaser calls the Dark King’s secrets “worth more than its weight in gold”.
- It’s the game’s third Halloween-themed quest, according to the wiki.
- Rewards and steps aren’t public yet. We’ll add the walkthrough once the quest has been live long enough for the steps to be confirmed. Be careful with “leaked rewards” lists until then.
What to do first in the Halloween update
You’ve got about two and a half weeks of Halloween shop time, and the quest lands in the middle of it. Here’s a sensible order:
- Grab the free items now. New free racks include the Scarecrow Dress, Piano Bolero, Piano Bag, Lantern and Kitty. Returning free items include the Rain set, Biker set and Emo Top and Skirt (wiki item list). Some summer items, like the Beach Wrap Blouse and Cropped Fur Coat, have left the racks.
- Farm Candy Corn before October 24. Once the quest is out, servers get busy and you’ll want to spend your time on the story. Bank currency this week.
- Play regular rounds for Baddie Pass XP. Runway rounds and daily and weekly tasks fill the Halloween Collection pass. It has 40 tiers this year, according to AllThingsHow.
- Check the new skin menu. Vitiligo is now fully colorable, and palms are recolorable for more accurate skin tones. The developer confirmed both on X. Free skin details include Vitiligo, Freckles, Highlights and Palms.
- Be ready on Saturday, October 24 at 15:00 UTC for Tales of the Dark King.
How to get Candy Corn fast
Candy Corn replaces last year’s Candy as the seasonal currency. You spend it on limited-time shop items such as the new Star Witch and Lunar Werewolf sets. In an October 17 update notice, the developers said they raised seasonal shop prices to match the new earning rates, and that players can make “500+ candies per minute while farming”. Minigames are now uncapped with no cooldowns, and regular rounds pay Candy Corn too.

The per-activity payouts come from the community wiki, not the developer, and may change with patches. Apple Bobbing tickets can now be used every 5 minutes (it was 10 last year).
Tip for Tarot Cards: with 16 cards and 12 lives, flip cards in the same order every time and remember the positions. A clean board is worth 640 Candy Corn.
What does Candy Corn buy?
The seasonal shop has two new sets, Star Witch (skirt, top, legwear and hat) and Lunar Werewolf (necklace, bodysuit, shoes and jacket). The Jester set from last year is back too. The wiki lists the returning Jester Bodysuit at 76,000 Candy Corn, the Jester Mask at 60,000 and the Jester Ruff at 36,000. That’s why the farming advice above matters. Prices for the new sets aren’t fully documented yet, so check them in-game.
Spooky Showdown challenges
Style Showdown is running as Spooky Showdown for the season, with up to 7 players a round. It has its own Halloween challenges on top of the normal themes:
- WITCHES! Everyone has to wear the Witch Hat and Broomstick, so build the rest of the outfit around them.
- Infected: a new challenge whose rules haven’t been documented yet.
Showdown rewards include the Style Showdown Gloves, Dress and Headpiece, plus Cash, Candy Corn, Stars, XP and Style Stars.
Dress To Impress codes (checked October 21, 2026)
No code came with the Halloween update. The developer’s official patch notes on X and in-game update log list no code, and @_Dress2Impress hasn’t posted one since. The last event code, 10BILLION (Heart Fork), was tied to the 10B Party and has expired, though a few older lists still show it. RDC2026 expired on September 19.
These older creator and collab codes don’t expire on a timer. They appear as active on the wiki’s code page and on dated lists from Timesaver (Oct 18), Pocket Tactics (Oct 20) and Destructoid (Oct 20). We list only codes that at least three of those four agree on:
