Behaviour is pulling the Chucky Chapter from Dead by Daylight’s stores on November 24. A last chance sale starts October 26, and owners keep their content.

Chucky is leaving Dead by Daylight’s stores. Behaviour Interactive announced on October 23 that the Chucky Chapter and all of its content will be removed from the in-game store and first-party stores on November 24, 2026. A discounted “last chance” sale starts on Monday, October 26 on all platforms, and anything you unlock before the cutoff stays yours to use.

The Good Guy joined The Fog on November 28, 2023, so he’ll leave just short of his third anniversary. He’s the third licensed Killer to go in under two years, after Hellraiser’s Pinhead and Halloween’s Michael Myers.

When is Chucky leaving Dead by Daylight?

The key dates from Behaviour’s announcement, with details from its FAQ as summarized by IGN:

What Date Details
Removal announced October 23, 2026 Official @DeadbyDaylight post, 16:05 UTC
Last chance sale starts Monday, October 26 All platforms; IGN reports 50% off Chucky Chapter items
Chapter leaves the stores November 24, 2026 In-game and first-party stores; no time given yet
Content you already own After November 24 Stays usable in-game

Behaviour hasn’t given a time of day for the removal. When the Halloween Chapter left on January 19, 2026, the cutoff was 11 AM ET, according to Behaviour’s notice. If you’re cutting it close, don’t wait for the last day.

What exactly is being removed?

Everything tied to the chapter. According to IGN’s summary of the official FAQ, The Good Guy will no longer be sold, his outfits and cosmetics will be pulled, and no future add-ons will be added for him, though Behaviour will still fix his bugs.

The chapter itself is small: one Killer and no Survivor or map. On Steam it’s a $4.99 add-on (US price, checked October 24 UTC), and it includes the exclusive Good Guys Box charm. Its three Perks, according to the store page:

  • Hex: Two Can Play: after Survivors stun or blind you a set number of times, a Dull Totem becomes a Hex Totem; while it stands, Survivors who stun or blind you are blinded for 4 seconds.
  • Friends ‘Til the End: an Obsession Perk that exposes the Obsession and reveals their aura when you hook someone else.
  • Batteries Included: Haste near completed generators, which lingers briefly after you leave.

Behaviour hasn’t said publicly what happens to those Perks. When Michael Myers left, his and Laurie Strode’s Perks were renamed and moved into the general Perk pool for everyone. Owners kept the original names. We’ll update this post if the Chucky FAQ confirms the same treatment.

Why is Chucky being removed?

Behaviour hasn’t given a reason. Its post just says it’s “time for the Chucky Chapter to leave the shelf.” Licensed characters usually leave when a license deal ends, and fans are assuming that’s what happened here. IGN says it has asked the studio for comment. The removal also hits players who never bought him: once a Killer can’t be bought, fewer people are likely to play him, so Survivors will probably face Chucky less often.

Should you buy Chucky before November 24?

If you’ve ever wanted to play The Good Guy, the October 26 sale is your last chance. He’s the game’s first Killer with a third-person camera. His Hidey-Ho Mode makes him Undetectable, and his Scamper move lets him slip under dropped pallets and through windows. Buy him and his cosmetics before November 24, and they stay in your account.

What’s next

The Last Chance sale goes live on Monday, October 26, and the chapter leaves the stores on November 24. Before then, check that Behaviour’s notice gives an exact cutoff time and says what happens to the three Perks. IGN also reports that Terrifier’s Art the Clown is still due next month, so the roster will keep changing.
