Stuck on a Match Factory hard level? According to Google and Bing search suggestions, the level numbers players look up most include 459, 159, 249, 599, 600 and 850, plus 699 and 1499. This guide covers all eight. For each one we matched walkthrough videos from named YouTube channels and checked their frames to confirm the level tag, the goal items and the board. Below you’ll find what each level asks you to collect, what makes the board tricky, which videos show a full clear, and a solving order that works on any Match Factory level. Two of the levels, 850 and 1499, are backed by only one video we could verify, and we say so in their rows.

Quick answer
- Only the goal row counts. The icons at the top of the screen are the items you have to collect, with a counter under each. An App Store reviewer with around 600 levels played points out that the extra items on the board “don’t count towards anything”.
- Protect the tray. Every tapped item goes into a tray of seven slots, and three of a kind clear. As in other triple-match games, a full tray is what ends most attempts, so keep two or three slots free on crowded boards.
- Level 459 (red tag) is a toy pile of dinosaurs, monster trucks and clapperboards in red, blue and green. The goals are three colored round tokens hidden among look-alike toys.
- Levels 600 and 850 carry a teal tag and new themed items: camping gear on 600, beauty kit on 850.
- Levels 699 and 1499 are single-color boards (all pink, or purple and orange), so you have to tell items apart by shape, not color.
- A failed try may help next time. Mobile marketing firm Udonis says the game uses adaptive difficulty, so the next attempt after a loss is “slightly easier”.

How Match Factory levels work
Peak’s App Store listing describes a triple-match game in 3D: you sort through a pile of objects and clear them in threes, and “each level” has a timer. Here’s how a level plays out, based on the store screenshots and the walkthrough videos:
- A pile of 3D items fills the middle of the screen. At the top sit the level tag (for example “Level 459”), the timer and the goal row, which shows each item you need with a counter.
- Tap an item and it drops into the tray at the bottom, which has seven slots. Three identical items in the tray clear and count toward their goal.
- When a goal’s counter runs out, that goal leaves the row. In the Puzzle Games video of level 599, the row drops from five goals to three as the clock runs down.
- Clear every goal before the timer ends to win. Running out of time, or running out of tray space, is how attempts end.
A row of four booster buttons with counters sits at the bottom of the screen in every video. The icons show a vacuum, a purple spring, a fan and a blue freeze gun. Peak doesn’t explain them on the store page beyond “powerful boosters”. Udonis describes Match Factory’s boosters as reshuffling the board, clearing tough objects or freezing the timer, so we won’t guess what each one does.
App Store reviewers say the game marks some levels “Hard”, “Super Hard” and “Ultra Hard”, and that the Super Ball only switches on after 10 wins in a row and resets when you lose. In the videos, the level tag is dark on normal levels, red on 459, purple on 1499 and teal on 600 and 850. Some channel titles call 599 and 699 “ultra hard”, but the tag in the frames we checked is the standard dark one. Peak may have rebalanced those levels, or the channel’s label differs from the game’s.
A solving order that works on any board
- Read the goal row before you tap anything. Count how many goal types there are and which colors they share with decoys. On 459 and 1499, the decoys are the same colors as the goals.
- Collect in threes. Tap a goal item only when you can see the other two copies. Two lonely items of different kinds in the tray are what clog it.
- Work from the top layer. Items on top are easy to grab and uncover the ones underneath. Digging for one buried piece wastes seconds.
- Keep two or three slots free. On boards with five or six goals (599, 600, 699, 850), a nearly full tray leaves no room for mistakes.
- Drop finished goals from your plan. Once a goal leaves the row, more of that item no longer moves you forward.
- Use fails as a preview. A lost attempt shows you where the goal items hide, and Udonis says the next attempt after a loss is slightly easier. Save coins and boosters for the red and purple levels: reviewers say those are where their stash drains fastest.
Match Factory hard levels: goals, boards and video solutions
We matched each level to walkthrough videos and checked their frames for the level tag, the goal row and the board. The goal names are our reading of the small icons, so check them against your own screen. Most of these videos are one to two years old. Peak adds a new item pack every two weeks (according to its version notes), so if your board looks completely different, your version of the level may have changed.
| Level | Tag | Goals | What’s on the board | Video solutions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 159 | Dark (standard) | Four peppers: red, yellow, green and purple | A packed fruit-and-veg pile with pears, grapes, carrots and purple juice cartons | skillgaming (no boosters), Puzzle Games, Merge Mystique |
| 249 | Dark (standard) | Two: wooden stools and red teacups | A brown, red and white pile of bowling pins, cookies, ice-cream cones, red spotted mushrooms and grey cans | skillgaming (no boosters), Puzzle Games |
| 459 | Red | Three round tokens: red, blue and green | A toy pile of dinosaurs, monster trucks, film clapperboards and toy planes in the same three colors | Merge Mystique, Puzzle Games |
| 599 | Dark (standard) | Five: two kinds of bottle, a flat white rectangular item, a red backpack and a red ice lolly | A summer pile of striped deck chairs, watermelon ice lollies, strawberries, red guitars and phones | Merge Mystique, Puzzle Games |
| 600 | Teal | Six camping items: a purple backpack, a yellow tent, a green canteen, a brown box, a blue carabiner and a pink marshmallow skewer | Camping gear, plus red kettles and axes as decoys. Merge Mystique’s title calls it a “Camping Pack level” | Merge Mystique, Puzzle Games |
| 699 | Dark (standard) | Five or six pink and cream items, including a gift box, a handbag and a toy bear | An all-pink pile of gift boxes, handbags, teddy bears, dice and teapots | Merge Mystique, Puzzle Games, Match Factory Levels Turkiye Player |
| 850 | Teal | Six beauty items: a compact mirror, two bottles, a hairbrush, a makeup brush and a red accessory | A pink and blue pile of handbags, hairdryers, brushes and nail-polish bottles | Puzzle Games (the only video we could match frame by frame) |
| 1499 | Purple | Four: purple and orange horns, and purple and orange bottle-shaped pieces | A purple and orange music pile of drums, trumpets, guitars and harps | iPlayAllDay (one video) |
Match Factory level 159
Level 159 has four goals that look almost the same: peppers in four colors. The fruit pile is the decoy here, with yellow pears and green grapes close to the yellow and green peppers. Find one color at a time and finish it before you start the next, so mixed pepper colors never pile up in the tray. skillgaming’s video is titled as a no-boosters run, so a clean order can be enough.
Match Factory level 249
With only two goals, wooden stools and red teacups, 249 looks easy. The trouble is the size of the pile. Most of it is brown and red food and bowling pins that hide the stools and cups. Grab top-layer decoys only when three of them are visible, so you dig without filling the tray. skillgaming’s video is another no-boosters run.
Match Factory level 459
This is the one with the red tag, and Merge Mystique’s title calls it “super hard”. The three goals are red, blue and green round tokens, buried in a pile of toys in exactly those colors. Look for the flat round shape, not the color. Clear the big monster trucks and dinosaurs in threes only when they block tokens, because each one takes up a full tray slot.

Match Factory level 599
Five goals on a crowded summer board. The two bottle goals look alike, so check the goal row before you send a bottle to the tray. Late in the Puzzle Games run (0:45 left on the clock), only three goals are left, and the board has thinned out to ice lollies and strawberries.
Match Factory level 600
Level 600 has six camping-themed goals with a teal tag, and Merge Mystique labels it a Camping Pack level. Expect items you may not have seen before. The tent and backpack are big and easy to spot. The carabiners and marshmallow skewers are thin and slip under other pieces, so collect those whenever three of them show.
Match Factory level 699
Everything on 699 is pink. Shape is the only clue, so take a few seconds at the start to find each goal’s outline (gift box, handbag, toy bear) before tapping anything. Three channels show this same board.
Match Factory level 850
Another teal-tag level, this time with a beauty theme and six goals. Puzzle Games’ run is the only video we could match frame by frame. Danieladani’s levels 850 and 851 video covers it too, but the frames we could check only show level 851. The bottles and brushes come in several colors, so match the exact one in the goal row.
Match Factory level 1499
The purple tag and a two-color music board make 1499 one of the tougher ones here. Each goal shape comes in purple and in orange, so a purple horn and an orange horn are different goals. Collect one color of a shape at a time. Only iPlayAllDay’s video showed this board when we checked.

FAQ
What is the hardest level in Match Factory?
Peak doesn’t publish a list. Of the levels in this guide, 459 (red tag) and 1499 (purple tag) carry the harder-looking tags in the videos, and App Store reviewers say Hard, Super Hard and Ultra Hard levels come up frequently between normal ones.
Why does my level look different from the video?
Most walkthroughs are one to two years old, and Peak adds a new item pack every two weeks. If your goal row doesn’t match the table above, look for a newer video, or use the solving order, which works on any board.
Do Match Factory levels get easier if you fail?
Udonis says the game uses adaptive difficulty, so the next attempt after a loss is slightly easier. Peak hasn’t confirmed this, but it means a failed try isn’t wasted.
How many slots does the Match Factory tray have?
Seven. You can see them in Peak’s store screenshots and in every video we checked. Three identical items clear, so the tray only fills up when you hold pieces of too many different sets at once.
