Older codes you will see on tracker lists (WeLoveJohn, MARYPOPPINSYALL, BLADEANDBOULDER, SWORDANDTHESTONE, MCOCONSTEAM, STEAM50K and others) are marked expired by PCGamesN, and Mobile Matters agrees on most of them. Trying one in the Promo Codes box costs nothing, but don’t expect a reward.
Why MCOC code lists disagree
Search for MCOC codes and you’ll find pages with 20 or 30 “new” codes next to pages saying none work. Here’s what the dated trackers said when we checked them on November 5:

One likely reason: adding a code to a list is easy, while removing a dead one takes a test with a linked account. Kabam’s own posts are short-lived by design. IAMSOCIAL lasted 24 hours, and a May 2024 livestream code got a single 30-minute repeat window (8:00-8:30 GMT) for viewers in other time zones. A code from 2024 or early 2025 is almost certainly gone.

Why Kabam posts fewer promo codes now
Kabam explained this in a December 5, 2025 dev diary on Twitch Drops. Promo codes used to be the livestream reward: watch the stream, get the code. But many players waited for someone else to share it, and the chat filled with code spam. The dev diary says promo codes are now “largely attached to promotions, or as part of big events” and will not be the livestream’s “main reward vehicle moving forward”. The rewards moved to Twitch Drops instead, which are tied to watch time.
Codes haven’t disappeared, though. Kabam’s dev diary points to a promo code for the Founders War 7-Star Nexus in the Regal Ravagers event as one of the “juicy” ones, and the February 2025 International Women’s Day event handed out extra votes “via Promo Codes that will be sent out from the Content Creators and Devs”. The best times to look are big events and anniversaries. Kabam’s Empire of Doom saga post says a second trailer comes “as we celebrate our 12th anniversary”. That’s our pick for when the next code could drop, but Kabam hasn’t announced one.
How to redeem Marvel Contest of Champions codes on Kabam’s web store
MCOC codes aren’t entered in the game. Kabam’s Stores guide says that if you find a promo code “lurking around a livestream, or from one of the Content Creators, the Summoner’s Market is where you need to come to redeem it.” Here’s how:
- Link a Kabam account first. In the game, open Settings and create or log in to a Kabam account (Kabam ID). That links your progress to an email login. Kabam’s 52.0.0 notes added an email verification code step when you create a new account.
- Open the Summoner’s Market at store.playcontestofchampions.com in a browser on your phone or PC. It’s the same link Kabam’s own posts point to.
- Log in with the same Kabam account. If you log into a different account, the reward goes there.
- Scroll to the Promo Codes box near the bottom of the page, type the code exactly and press Apply Code (the steps PCGamesN, Pocket Gamer and All Things How describe).
- Check your in-game mail. According to All Things How, rewards arrive in your inbox in the game, not instantly on the store page.
Why your MCOC code isn’t working
- It expired. Kabam’s codes are short-lived: IAMSOCIAL ran for 24 hours.
- Wrong account. The Summoner’s Market login must be the Kabam account linked to the game you play.
- Typo or capitalization. Pocket Gamer reports mixed results with case on some codes. Type it exactly as posted.
- It was never official. Most codes on long lists can’t be traced to a Kabam post.

DoomScrip is the currency for the Reclamation War and the Von Doom Armory, where Latverian Talismans cost 5,000 each and 100 of them unlock 7-Star Doctor Doom. Kabam says the free DoomScrip in the event is enough to reach Ascended 1 Doctor Doom. That makes the weekly Twitch Drops worth more this month than most old promo codes were. Kabam’s Empire of Doom saga runs from November 2 to February 10.

- @MarvelChampions on X: every official code we found was posted there, with the redeem link.
- playcontestofchampions.com news: event posts and livestream summaries. Check the summary after each monthly stream.
- Content Creators: Kabam has used creators to share event codes before (the International Women’s Day 2025 vote codes). Make sure a code shared this way appears in an official Kabam post or the creator’s own announcement before you trust it.
- The 12th anniversary: Kabam has teased anniversary content in its saga post. We’ll update this page if a code appears.
