Koei Tecmo President says that he would love to work on a Mario or Star Wars Musou Game

Recently TheGamer interviewed Koei Tecmo’s President, where he was asked, “Is there a Franchise that you personally would love to make a warriors game for?” Koei Tecmo’s President Hisashi replied with “Mario and STAR WARS are two great series that come to mind. Unfortunately, we haven’t had the opportunity to collaborate with these IP yet.” Warriors or Musou Games are games where one person takes on hundreds of enemies at the same time.
This is not the first time where Koei Tecmo has expressed interest in working on a Mario Game. A Mario Game by Koei Tecmo is more likely to happen than a Star Wars Game because Koei Tecmo has already worked with Nintendo on previous titles such as Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and Fire Emblem Games. I am not sure how a Musou type Mario Game would be like, but I am now really interested in seeing one. Samurai Warriors is scheduled to release later this June, and it seems insane. Samurai Warriors will apparently have 200 enemies on the screen at the same time, but it is not the priority. I think a Star Wars Musou Game could work really well if you play as a character like Vader or something.
