The world may see a release date for the rumoured remaster of the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy. In addition to the highly anticipated sixth entry in Rockstar’s insanely popular franchise, rumours have been circulating for a while regarding the original entries of the long-running series, finally getting an updated version for the current generation of consoles.
Grand Theft Auto V: Expanded and Enhanced is supposed to release this year, and Rockstar probably wants it to sell the best that’s why they might have made the release date 2022.
Unlike the rest of the series, the first two entries featured a top-down perspective while still maintaining a shocking amount of freedom, with the third being the first in the games to be an open-world title, releasing to critical acclaim and marking a shift in the titles to come. Considering how old the original three games are, it might be time for them to be remastered, and with the rumours, fans have been eagerly awaiting any news about it. Tom Henderson mentioned in a tweet that the possible time frame for the release of the remastered trilogy might be sometime in 2022, according to some reports, but players will still have to wait for any updates from Rockstar for now.
