DONT SPLASH is a Roblox horror obby where you hop across a flooded, Poolrooms-style maze without touching the water, because a blind monster hunts by sound. Every splash pulls it toward you, so the whole game is about choosing safe landings and using pebbles, bottles and flares to steer it away. It’s the #1 game on Roblox’s Top Trending and Up-and-Coming charts today, with 105,435 people playing when we checked on October 29, 2026 at 17:00 UTC, about double this morning’s count.

Quick answer
- The game: DONT SPLASH by the Roblox group Bacon Theory, released October 17, 2026. It’s free, with up to 10 players per server and parties of 1 to 4.
- The one rule: the monster can’t see you. It hears the water. Stay on dry tiles and only make noise where you want it to go.
- What to do first: start on Easy, pick up every pebble, throw them into water away from your route, and rest on dark-bordered tiles (they don’t sink).
- Save a flare for emergencies: community guides report that a flare hit stuns the monster for 5 seconds. Pebbles and bottles only lure it.
- Codes: none. The game has no code box (checked October 29, 2026).
- Next update: the official “NEW FARM MAP” event starts October 31 at 14:00 UTC (10:00 a.m. EDT).

Which game is the real DONT SPLASH?
Search “dont splash” on Roblox and you’ll find several lookalikes, so check the creator before you join:
- DONT SPLASH (Bacon Theory, place ID 119958473240233): the trending game this guide covers.
- It Hears The Water [DONT SPLASH] (group It is Deaf, released October 14): a separate survival game with the same idea, about 11,000 players and Shift to run. Walkthrough videos often mix the two up.
- Dont Spill the Water! (Ascora Studios): an unrelated pouring party game. Any code you see for it doesn’t work in DONT SPLASH.
- A “Play as the MONSTER” spin-off, which the fan site DontSplash.com lists as a separate experience, not a mode of the real game.
How to play DONT SPLASH
Gameplay details in this section come from community guides that document recorded runs, mainly DontSplash.com’s how-to-play notes (checked October 25) and the DONT SPLASH Wiki’s escape guide. Both are fan sites, not the developer.
- Make a party. In the lobby, walk into the “create a party” pad, set the size (1 to 4), choose the Poolrooms map and a difficulty, then start.
- Cross the stages. Jump between platforms and follow the yellow floors and black wall arrows to each exit.
- Use your hotbar. Select a tool with its number key (or tap it on mobile), then click or tap THROW.
- Turn the valves. Partway through, you hold E on two red valve wheels to open the door, then climb while the water rises.
- Spend your coins. Runs pay coins, which buy tools and upgrades in the lobby.
If you fall in, you’re downed. Guides say you press H to ask for help, a teammate presses G to pull you out, and B lets you bleed out. Solo works, but nobody can rescue you.
Difficulty modes
| Mode | Monsters | What changes |
|---|---|---|
| Easy | 1 | Shorter levels, more platforms, half the coin rewards |
| Normal | 3 | Fewer platforms and longer jumps |
| Locked mode | Up to 5 | Unlocks after you beat Normal twice (“BEAT NORMAL 0/2”) |
Monster counts as reported by DontSplash.com from gameplay footage. They aren’t from an official patch note, because the developer hasn’t published any.
Can the monster see you? How it hunts
No. A sign on the wall says it plainly: “It can’t see you. It hears the water.” Community guides describe how the monster behaves:
- Splashes call it. Touching the water, or a sinking tile dipping under, sends it straight to that spot.
- Machines are loud. The valve wheels make noise, so expect company while you turn them.
- It can grab you mid-jump. Players report getting caught when they jump over or near the monster, even without touching the water. Don’t try to jump past its head.
- Standing still isn’t stealth. It doesn’t track you by sight. It goes wherever the last noise was, so a quiet route is what keeps you safe.
How to survive DONT SPLASH: what to do first
- Play Easy until you know the route. One monster gives you room to learn the stages.
- Grab every pebble cluster. Each cluster gives one pebble. They’re free, and they’re your main tool.
- Throw away from your path, never at the monster. A pebble hitting the monster does nothing. It has to land in water. Wait until the monster turns toward the splash, then move.
- Pause only on dark-bordered tiles. On Sinking Platforms, normal tiles drop under you, and a sunk tile counts as a splash.
- Keep one flare for close calls. Guides report that a hit shows “STUNNED” for 5 seconds, then the monster can’t be stunned again for about 8 seconds. Use that window to reach dry ground, not to stand still.
- Bring a rope in co-op. The rescue rope pulls a downed teammate out of the water. It does nothing to the monster.
- Watch the other players. The official shop sells “Push” and “Super Push” items that shove a nearby player (the Super Push adds a brief ragdoll), so don’t stand on an edge next to a stranger.

Every DONT SPLASH stage in order
The Poolrooms run has nine named stages. Four came at launch, and five were added in the October 24 “[NEW STAGES]” update, according to DontSplash.com’s map walkthrough, which is based on dated run videos.
| # | Stage | What happens | Tip |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Pillar Hall | Platforms between tiled columns | Follow the wall arrows, grab pebbles |
| 2 | Broken Walkway | Narrow ledges with short hops, or wide platforms with long jumps | Pick the route that suits your jumping and keep moving |
| 3 | Sinking Platforms | Tiles sink while you stand on them | Hop non-stop to the dark-bordered tiles |
| 4 | Rotating Bridge | Long strips turn over the water | Board the near end once it lines up, then leave from the far end |
| – | Valves | Two red wheels (“Valve opened 1/2”), then the water rises | Hold E, then climb the yellow blocks fast |
| 5 | Moving Platforms | Tiles slide under you | Wait for the next landing to line up |
| 6 | Drifting Platforms | Floor arrows push you | Steer against the push before you jump |
| 7 | Memory Bridge | Tiles light up in a sequence | Memorize the safe path before you step |
| 8 | Crushing Walls | Walls cycle open and closed | Take the open lane, don’t rush a closing one |
| 9 | Locked Exit | A four-digit door | Photograph the four pillar numbers with the camera prompt (F). Codes change every run, so numbers from videos won’t work |
One filmed Normal clear on October 20 took 42 minutes 36 seconds, according to DontSplash.com, so plan for a long session. That run predates the five new stages.
DONT SPLASH tools: pebbles, bottles, flares, toys and rope
| Tool | What it does | How to get it |
|---|---|---|
| Pebble | Skips across the water for 3 small splashes (4 with Pebble Skipping level 1). Lure only | Free from clusters. 5 coins each in the lobby, or 20 for 19 Robux |
| Bottle | One loud splash where it lands, which suits far targets | Coin unlock (reported 150 coins for 3 uses), or 10 for 19 Robux |
| Wind-up toy | A decoy that runs for about 6 seconds (7 with Toy Battery level 1) | Shop unlock, or 8 for 29 Robux |
| Flare | Stuns the monster for about 5 seconds, with roughly 10 studs of radius at base | Coin unlock (reported 450 coins for 3 uses), or 8 for 39 Robux |
| Rescue rope | Pulls a downed teammate out (12 studs of reach, 14 at level 1) | Coins (one use per room), or the 30 Robux pass for a reusable rope |
Robux packs and their contents are from the official developer-products list (October 29). Coin prices, durations and studs are community-reported figures from DontSplash.com’s tools page. The developer doesn’t publish them.
Upgrades are bought with coins and go up to level 3: Throwing Range (+10% distance per level), Pebble Skipping (+1 splash), Rescue Speed, Toy Battery, Flare Radius and Rope Reach. The last three only matter once you own the matching tool.

DONT SPLASH game passes and prices
Every pass is optional, and you can finish the game without spending Robux. These are the official prices and descriptions from Roblox, checked October 29, 2026:
| Pass | Robux | Official description |
|---|---|---|
| Rescue Rope | 30 | Permanent reusable rope unlock |
| Max Throwing Range / Pebble Skipping / Rescue Speed / Rope Reach / Flare Radius / Toy Battery | 75 each | That upgrade at level 3/3 forever |
| Halloween Pack | 79 | 2x cash and 1 free self-revive per run until October 31, 2026; ghost trail and pumpkin aura forever |
| 2x Cash | 99 | Doubles cash earned in runs, forever |
| 4th Tool Slot | 99 | One extra loadout slot |
| 5th Tool Slot | 149 | A second extra loadout slot |
| All Upgrades Maxed | 149 | No description (contents not confirmed) |
| Fall Pack | Not on sale yet | 2x cash and a free self-revive every run until November 14, plus the permanent Leaf Trail and Raven Aura |
If you do spend, the 30 Robux rope is the cheapest permanent unlock, and it helps the whole party. Wait before buying the Halloween Pack: its timed perks end on October 31, the day the Fall Pack (with perks to November 14) is likely to go on sale with the Farm update. Neither the developer nor Roblox has confirmed that timing.
Are there DONT SPLASH codes?
No. DONT SPLASH has no code box, and no codes have appeared on the game page or the Bacon Theory group as of October 29, 2026. Gamewave (October 26) and DontSplash.com (October 25) also found none. Codes such as ILOVEWATER belong to Dont Spill the Water!, a different game. Free progress comes from coins earned in runs, especially on Normal, which pays double Easy.
DONT SPLASH New Farm Map: start time
The official Roblox event listing says the “NEW FARM MAP” is coming, with “multiple new stages” and pumpkins to collect that unlock new equipment, and a subtitle that asks, “CAN YOU ESCAPE THE FARM?” A Farm option already shows in the party menu, but guides report it wouldn’t load before release. The shop’s new Pumpkin packs (10, 35 or 100 for 29, 79 or 199 Robux) went up on October 28 and are spent in a “Pumpkin Shop”.

FAQ
Is DONT SPLASH scary?
It’s a horror game with a large monster, loud sounds and a red overlay when it grabs you, but guides describe no gore. If you like DONT SPLASH’s mix of rules and dread, the anomaly games are similar: try our Animal Hospital anomalies guide or the Scary Shawarma Kiosk anomalies list.
Can you play DONT SPLASH solo?
Yes. Set the party size to 1. It’s harder because nobody can pull you out of the water, so the self-rescue items (1 for 19 Robux or 3 for 49 Robux) matter most when you play alone.
How many players can play DONT SPLASH together?
Parties hold 1 to 4 players, and servers hold up to 10.
Does DONT SPLASH have badges?
No. Roblox’s badges API lists none for the game as of October 29, 2026.
