Call of Duty’s newest title is already set for a worldwide reveal date inside of their massively popular free-to-play battle royale, Warzone. There have long been rumours of what the next title in the long-running series would be, and aside from solid confirmation on the game’s title, players will see content from the newest entry into the franchise. Lately, Activision has been in hot water for reports of a highly toxic work culture, with a walkout even taking place. Still, they continue to put out updates for their latest title, Cold War and continue to be insanely popular amongst gamers.

Rumours have been swirling that the newest title in the franchise will be another one set in the Second World War. Still, eager players will have to wait for it to officially be revealed in Warzone, which has consistently been an important part of the series multiplayer with its story told through short videos and becoming one of the most well-known free-to-play games. Cold War presented a chronological step back for the games, moving back in the past after 2019’s even more successful Modern Warfare, and we may see them move even further back with the newest title’s upcoming reveal. Thanks to a tweet from Tom Henderson showing an image from the PlayStation Store’s “Must see” category, Call of Duty: Vanguard will see its reveal on August 19th, at 10:30 a.m. PST in Warzone
