The Business Empire: RichMan bank settings most players use are 6.30% on Deposits and 9.60% on Credits. That pair appears in the community wiki’s max-level income example and on the bank screens of the most-watched bank-settings videos. The wiki’s own “Recommended Rates” are a little different (7.04% Deposits, 8.85% Credits), and its editors have changed those numbers several times since 2024. So treat any “best bank rates” as community advice, not developer figures. The rule of thumb behind all of them: for steady income, keep your Credits rate above your Deposits rate. A player’s screenshot with Deposits above Credits shows the bank losing money every hour.
This is a sub-guide to our Business Empire: RichMan ultimate guide, which covers the whole game. Here we answer one question: how the bank’s two rate settings work and which ones to pick. Facts were checked on October 28, 2026. The game is free on Google Play (developer AAA Fun, updated October 26, 2026) and the App Store (listed under NewPubCo, Inc, version 1.25.25 from October 19, 2026). Neither listing publishes bank formulas or recommended rates, and every update note since September 2025 is a bug-fix or stability update. Every number below comes from the Business Empire Wiki or from players’ screenshots, and we say which.

Quick answer
- Most-used setting: Deposits 6.30%, Credits 9.60%. This is the wiki’s max-level example and the “after” setting in GAMER ONX21’s bank-settings video, which has over 437,000 views.
- Wiki “Recommended Rates”: Deposits 7.04%, Credits 8.85%.
- Wiki “Alternative Rates (best to earn more profits)”: Deposits 6.80%, Credits 9.90%.
- Wiki “Best for growing money in the vault”: Deposits 8.50%, Credits 7.40%. This pays depositors more than you charge borrowers, so use it only as a short phase while you fill the vault.
- Never leave Deposits above Credits for long. A player’s “before” screenshot at 8.50% / 7.20% shows -$42.78 billion per hour.
- Bank max level is 35, with a vault capacity of about $520.49 billion, according to the wiki.
- Bank vs Holding Company: the merge needs over $420 billion in the vault, and by the wiki’s table only a Level 35 bank holds that much.

Business Empire: RichMan bank settings: what each one does
Your bank’s screen shows its Income per hour at the top. Below that sit two settings under Bank rates, Deposits and Credits, and then a Bank vault panel with two figures, Total funds and In credit turnover. These are the labels visible in players’ screenshots of the bank screen; the developer doesn’t document what happens behind them. Here is how the community reads each one.
| On-screen name | What it means in game terms | Turn it up and… |
|---|---|---|
| Deposits (%) | The interest your bank pays to the people who deposit money with it | The vault fills faster (per the wiki’s “growing the vault” column), but every deposit costs you more |
| Credits (%) | The interest your bank charges borrowers on its loans | Each loan earns more, but one wiki edit argues 9.6% beats 10.3%, so higher is not automatically better |
| Total funds | Money held in the bank vault, capped by your bank level | Raised only by upgrading the bank (see the level table below) |
| In credit turnover | The part of the vault currently lent out, shown with a percentage | 80.00% in the max-level screenshot we checked, both before and after a rate change |
In plain terms, the bank earns on the gap between the two rates. You pay Deposits interest on money people leave with you, and you collect Credits interest on the money you lend out. The developer hasn’t published the formula, so the exact payoff of each extra 0.1% is unknown. What players’ screenshots do show is the direction: with Deposits above Credits, a full max-level vault loses billions per hour.
Is there a reserve ratio setting?
Not one you can change, as far as players’ screenshots show. Business Empire: RichMan has no slider called “reserve ratio”. The closest thing is the In credit turnover percentage in the Bank vault panel, which works like the opposite of a reserve. In the max-level screenshot we checked, 80% of Total funds was lent out, so roughly a fifth stayed in the vault, and the share didn’t change when the rates did. If a guide gives you a “best reserve ratio” for this game, ask which on-screen setting it means.
Best bank rates in Business Empire: the community settings compared
All the rates below come from the Business Empire Wiki’s Bank page, which anyone can edit, and from players’ videos. They are not developer numbers.
| Setting (source) | Deposits | Credits | Gap | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Most-used: wiki max-level example + GAMER ONX21 videos | 6.30% | 9.60% | 3.30 points | Steady income on a full vault |
| Wiki “Recommended Rates” | 7.04% | 8.85% | 1.81 points | A middle setting; the wiki doesn’t say why |
| Wiki “Alternative Rates (best to earn more profits)” | 6.80% | 9.90% | 3.10 points | Profit, per the wiki label |
| Wiki “Best for growing money in the vault” | 8.50% | 7.40% | -1.10 points | Filling the vault quickly, at a loss |
| Player “before” screenshot (GAMER ONX21) | 8.50% | 7.20% | -1.30 points | A warning: -$42.78B per hour |

The page history shows how unsettled these numbers are. In August 2024 the wiki’s vault-growth column said 6.30% / 10.80%. One editor wrote that “9.6 is a-lot better than 10.3”, and another flagged the original recommended rates as “most likely isn’t true”. By December 2024 the alternative column read 6.70% / 9.75%. A January 2026 edit set the current values, describing them as “the right values of deposit and credit rates which are best”. Because the numbers keep moving, the safest approach is to treat each pair as a starting point and check your own Income per hour after every change.
Why is my bank losing money?
In almost every case, your Deposits rate is at or above your Credits rate. Look at the bank screen: if Income per hour shows a minus sign, lower Deposits first. A player’s video thumbnail shows the same max-level bank, with the same $520.49 billion vault, moving from -$42.78 billion per hour at 8.50% / 7.20% to +$14.37 billion per hour at 6.30% / 9.60%. A second video shows +$21.55 billion per hour on the same 6.30% / 9.60%. That fits the wiki’s note that bank income fluctuates. Its max-level example runs from about $5.05 billion to $19.67 billion per hour on those rates.
Bank max level and upgrade costs
Bank income also depends on its level, because each level raises the vault’s Maximum Capacity by about 36%. According to the wiki’s table, opening a bank costs $10 million (capacity $15 million). The 34 upgrades to Level 35 add up to about $39.2 billion and roughly 158 hours of expansion timers. Selected levels:
| Level | Expanding duration | Required investment | Maximum capacity |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starting level | – | $10,000,000 (startup) | $15,000,000 |
| 5 | 1:45 | $2,299,968 | $51,315,302 |
| 10 | 2:30 | $9,217,039 | $238,748,923 |
| 15 | 3:45 | $36,936,956 | $1,110,800,231 |
| 20 | 5:00 | $148,023,531 | $5,168,095,175 |
| 25 | 6:15 | $593,199,010 | $24,045,014,580 |
| 30 | 7:30 | $2,377,223,822 | $111,871,532,285 |
| 34 | 8:30 | $7,217,151,111 | $382,714,767,273 |
| 35 (max) | 8:45 | $9,526,639,467 | $520,492,083,491 |
The wiki’s Level 35 capacity matches the Total funds figure in the max-level player screenshot to the dollar ($520,492,083,491), which is a good sign the table is current. One oddity: the wiki lists Level 18 as cheaper than Level 17, so double-check that cost in your own game. On timing, the wiki suggests not rushing the bank. Open two small shops, a small factory and a large factory first, and you should be able to afford the bank within about three days of play.
Business Empire bank vs Holding Company
The bank also unlocks the Holding Company merger. According to the wiki, it needs a $5 billion investment, a bank with over $420 billion in the vault and a share portfolio worth over $40 billion. On merging, the Holding Company replaces your bank, and the wiki says you keep your portfolio.
| Holding Company stage (wiki) | Upgrade cost | Upgrade time | Income per hour |
|---|---|---|---|
| No upgrades | – | – | $2.236 billion |
| Market Research | $1.5 million | 10 h | $2.236 billion |
| Negotiations | $2 million | 2 h | $2.236 billion |
| Acquisition of Shareholdings | $120 billion | 4 h | $7.396 billion |
| Board Approval | $4 billion | 20 min | $8.7 billion |
Two things follow from the wiki’s own numbers. First, a Level 34 vault tops out at about $382.7 billion, so you need a Level 35 bank to clear the $420 billion requirement. Second, this is where the wiki’s “growing money in the vault” rates can fit in. You could run them for a short phase to fill the vault past $420 billion, accepting the loss while they run, then merge or switch back to a profit setting. Is the merge worth it? The wiki’s Holding Company page argues both sides. Its disclaimer says a max-level bank is “much cheaper and generates more income”, but also that holding companies “make up to 10x as much as a max level bank if you do it right”. Compare your own bank’s Income per hour against the $8.7 billion fully upgraded figure before you give the bank up.
A simple bank routine
- Open the bank once your first shops and factories pay for themselves (the wiki says around day three).
- Start on 6.30% Deposits / 9.60% Credits, or the wiki’s 7.04% / 8.85%, and check Income per hour.
- Upgrade the level whenever you can afford it. The wiki ties bank income to its level as well as its rates.
- If Income per hour ever shows a minus sign, lower Deposits before anything else.
- If you’re going for the Holding Company, reach Level 35, fill the vault past $420 billion (the wiki’s vault-growth rates can help here, at a loss while they run), build a $40 billion share portfolio, then merge.

FAQ
What are the best bank settings in Business Empire: RichMan?
There is no official answer. The most-used community setting is 6.30% Deposits and 9.60% Credits. The wiki’s “Recommended Rates” are 7.04% and 8.85%, and its profit-focused alternative is 6.80% and 9.90%. Whichever you pick, keep Credits above Deposits.
What is the bank’s max level in Business Empire?
Level 35, according to the wiki. The last upgrade costs about $9.53 billion and takes 8 hours 45 minutes, and it raises the vault’s Maximum Capacity to about $520.49 billion.
Should I merge my bank into a Holding Company?
Only once your bank is at Level 35 and you also hold $40 billion in shares. The wiki puts a fully upgraded Holding Company at $8.7 billion per hour, but players disagree on whether that beats a well-tuned max-level bank. Compare the two Income per hour figures first.
Does the bank vault ever stop growing?
Yes. Total funds stop at your level’s Maximum Capacity: in the max-level screenshot we checked, Total funds equals the Level 35 cap to the dollar. To hold more, upgrade the bank.
