Rumour has it…Fortnite and Spiderman?

Written by Alexis

Fortnite and Marvel might be destined for a collaborative greatness. They have collaborated with each other a lot over the years, but fans think that the best one is yet to come with Miles Morales, one of Marvel’s most beloved Spider-Men, set to have a skin in the game soon.

Fortnite already has a number of different skins of characters that are close to Miles, including his mentor and friend Peter Parker’s Spider-Man and uncle Aaron Davis/Prowler. It would be only natural for Kid Arachnid to be next on the list.

Being the main character of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Miles has become incredibly popular over the years. In fact, he has his own animated film that was released in 2018 and his own video game called Spider-Man: Miles Morales, released in 2020. This popularity comes to no surprise, especially seeing how Spider-Man, as a character, is one of the most popular Marvel figures. In fact, it is very common for Spider-Man to make his appearance in different industries including movies like Captain America: Civil War, in games having made appearances in over 15 gaming platforms, and in slot games such as Spiderman’s slot game by Playtech, a gaming giant that offers some of the best new slots in the UK

Motion Capture for the Next Spider-Man Game has started

After gaining so many fans, Fortnite players have wanted to play Miles Morales in battle for a long time and it seems that their wish is finally coming true. In fact, Shiina, a Twitter user who is known for posting rumours and leaks about Fortnite, posted an image of Miles Morales in a spider-Man suit. Shiina claims that in one of Fortnite’s new Prowler quests, he says a quote that was said in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, ‘You’re on your way. Just keep going.’ This is one of the most memorable moments in the movie.

Justin_Neagle, another Twitter user, highlighted the connection between the animated movie and Prowler’s quest. Many fans are becoming more and more hopeful towards this collaboration between Miles Morales and Fortnite. It’s almost surprising how and why Miles Morales hasn’t been added to the Fortnite’s Marvel-inspired skins before.

If this leak proves to be true, it will hopefully materialise sooner rather than later. It will also make sense to place Miles Morales into the game as soon as possible so as to promote the sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, now called Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One). The sequel is expected to release on October 7th of this year.
