Yoko Taro recently confirmed on a Live Stream that his next game would not be a Mobile Game. Yoko Taro’s Mobile Game Nier Reincarnation is supposed to release later this year.
Yoko Taro is working with the producer Yosuke Saito on this game; they announced that this game wouldn’t be a Mobile Game and later stated that this would make the fans happy.
According to Twinfinite’s Earlier Reports from April, the game will be “Indie-Like” and “Download Only” it might not get a Physical Edition, but there could be a special edition later.
I feel like this game will be a Metroidvania or Rogue-like type game, or at least that’s what I am hoping for; however, I cannot wait to learn more about it, but the news about it being download only might disappoint some people.
NieR Replicant is still my Game of The Year; you can read my review of it here. I doubt if any other game this year will top NieR Replicant for me.
I still need to complete NieR Automata, and I’m having a blast with that game so far. I hope that Yoko Taro’s Writing remains this good or even better on his next Project.
