Hideki Kamiya has recently spoken to our friends at VGC and stated that the next “Platinum 4” announcement would be smaller in scale compared to the previous announcements. You can check out all of the announcements that have been made by Platinum Games here (including that April fools prank)
They recently added a Bonus Stage, and Hideki Kamiya has finally spoken about it; here is what he said: “We want to reveal it at the right time, but what we can say at the moment is that this was always intended as the ‘Platinum Four,’ so I think that the expectations should be for something extra, That being said, this is something that we’ve had in the works for a while.”
I’m really excited to see what this announcement is. I think it is about Babylon’s Fall since it has been in the works for a while, which basically fits the description of what Kamiya said. When Kamiya was asked if the fans should expect a significant reveal or something, he replied with “Asked if fans should expect a major reveal, Kamiya replied: “If we had to choose one end of the spectrum, then I’d probably say it’s something a little smaller in scale. But it’s still something I’m hoping fans will get a kick out of.”
Just like I mentioned before, I’m speculating that this is some release date trailer for their upcoming game Babylon’s Fall, which looks amazing. I have been looking forward to it. We will keep you updated as soon as Platinum Games announce something.
