Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC has dramatically boosted Bandai Namco’s digital operating profit by 553% year-over-year. Released on June 21, 2024, the expansion has already sold five million copies, surpassing expectations and contributing to a significant rise in the company’s revenue.

Bandai Namco’s financial report highlighted that the DLC’s success led to a 24.8% increase in net sales and a 56.3% rise in overall profit for the quarter ending June 30, 2024. Despite the incredible success, fans are already demanding more content, hoping for another expansion. However, FromSoftware has no plans for a new DLC at this time.
