We take the last few years of the 360 into the later times of the Xbox One up until now as a struggle to get as many chefs out the kitchen as possible. I am 100% sure that by the next Xbox console we’re going to be hearing all sorts of stories on how different execs, managers and higher-ups had their hand and plans at the beginning of Xbox One and what it took to bring it all back to where we are and hopefully headed now.
The closing of Lionhead imo was a casualty of MS mismanagement and being out of touch from the stories I read. They set them up with a couple of failed Fable games and then again set them on the house for an F2P 4v1 Fable game and then shut the place down when none of it worked. Again, it just screamed of old men in a boardroom barking orders because they saw analytic trends and not being in touch with the fan base.
Twisted Pixel I felt had a lot of potentials. They made some great games but just couldn’t push through with a really solid title to put them on the map. They had the humour and arcade talent, and to this day I thought they would have been perfect for a Conker revival. Now, I don’t even know what they do or if they’re even still around.
As for the Xbox today it is definitely looking like the 360 of old, and it’s obvious now that Phil was definitely cleaning house all this time. They have improved on features, dev policies, consumer-friendly actions, better hardware and answered the main, glaring complaint from all fan bases, lack of first party studios.
It’ll be interesting to see what they do next for their upcoming console. I’m fact; I am very curious to see exactly what will be new for PS5 and Xbox Two. What more can they do and add from their mid-gen console?
There were a lot of Rumours saying that Microsoft will release 2 Xboxes well they will launch 2 Xboxes but one of them will be a version of Xbox One. We can expect a 2020 release.
Phil Said, “The team that worked on Xbox One X, will be working on Future Consoles” he meant like Xbox one S like slimmer or more powerful version of the next-gen Xbox like Xbox one x.
Some Rumours were saying that one of them would be a streaming device, but that won’t happen either Because of Phil said that “Streaming Console-Quality Games On Any Device” Like The Nvidia GeForce Now. But you will be able to play on phones and computers. Not on a streaming device, there will be a subscription.
Like the Xbox Gamepass but it will cost more like 120$ for a year.
Well, it depends. It’s Confirmed That The Next-Gen Xbox Will be Code-Named As Xbox Scarlett, but we don’t know about its full name? Do we? According to the Rumours it will be named Xbox Infinity Or Xbox Infinite Just Like Halo Infinite. It’s Not decided yet but we do know that it’s code name is Xbox Scarlett.
The major thing that we know is that Phil Spencer said “The next Xbox will focus on both CPU and GPU” meanwhile the Xbox One X Mainly focused on it’s GPU. It doesn’t mean that they will downgrade it’s GPU for its CPU That means The Xbox Scarlett will be twice more powerful than the Xbox one x.
What Can We Expect? We could get some major information about Xbox scarlet later this year or at next year’s E3 briefing. Xbox Scarlet Will Release in the year 2020 meanwhile Playstation 5 is also releasing in 2020.
The Xbox One X Uses GDDR5 Technology, and it’s confirmed that the next generation Xbox Scarlett will use GDDR6 Technology. That means it will run all games in 4K and most of the games will be 60 fps. But what about the backwards compatibility on Xbox Scarlett?
Yes, Xbox Scarlett Will Be backward compatible with Xbox One that means you can play most of your Xbox one games on Xbox Scarlett Well that’s not it. Xbox Scarlett will also play The Original Xbox games and The Xbox 360 Games. Well, That’s Fantastic.
But What About The Exclusives?
Xbox Scarlett Will Improve on Exclusives That’s Why Microsoft acquired five new studios. And they said that they are into acquiring more studios. Which Studio Will They Acquire Next?
