Sony is trying to bring Big PlayStation IPs to Mobile Devices

Written by Ankit Gaba

It seems like Sony is trying to bring their Huge Franchises to Mobile, “exploring the mobile market with some wonderful PlayStation franchises,” says Jim Ryan.
I do not think that this idea is kind of weird, but it could work if it is executed properly. Like I do not believe that Mobile Devices are capable of handling big games such as The Last of Us 2 or God of War yet. However, this could work via cloud gaming.
A Thing I speculate is that they might port very old games from PS1 and PS2 Era to Mobile devices. This seems like the best idea to do this, at least to me currently. Sony’s CEO also stated, “deploying PlayStation’s proprietary IP to mobile as well,” I think they might create small spin-offs at this point since what they mention is just “Franchises” like for example, there could be a Horizon Zero Dawn Styled Runner game and that just might be it. But what I would really prefer them to do is bring older games to Mobiles since many people are interested in PS2 emulation via Mobile, which is not working great as of now.
